Day 1 - Technology Plan

I was amazed, when looking at Geneseo's Technology Plan, how much information was in the plan. It was very in-depth and very specific. There was a lot of important data, but it was easy to read. The Geneseo Plan followed the monitoring form exactly. Dr. Closen mentioned how it was important to bold categories and key words. Geneseo did exactly that. In our groups, we were going through the monitoring form and Geneseo's tech plan. We were able to go through and follow along very easily. The plan covered everything in order and it was easy to see how well Geneseo put together their tech plan. When I think about my districts tech plan, there is a lot of work to do for it to give the information related to the monitoring form. It does not have any data. It is more of a user form with some parts related to a technology plan. It will be interesting to see what kind of changes will be made to my districts tech plan over the next year or two.
