3/28/09 Excel, Wikis, Blogs

I found the Excel informative but overwhelmeing. There is so much to do with it and I would definitely like to learn more to enhance my skills but I don't know when I will find the time. I think I need a class just in Excel. I know there are so many features that I could find uses for. I felt like a dweeb as I was trying to work on it in class. There are so many people who have more competent skills using it than I and I couldn't keep up at their pace. For me, I need something in print with the formulas written down to refer back to. The wikis and blogs were a lot easier for me to understand and I feel more comfortable playing around with those on my own. Having time to experiment is definitely what I need. I think that I will have some time in the summer to become more proficient.
