As frustrating as working with the Podcast was, once we were able to attach music and finally get it together, it was a great accomplishment! I can see me using this with my 6th graders when we finish novels. I did a very similar project with 8th graders and the book The Outsiders, except we went to the local radio station (it was still in operation) and had the kids voiceover a summary of a chapter with music as background. This was also when Napster was big and, as illegal as it was, we downloaded the music they needed to fit their character summary. It was an awesome project and the kids loved it! This will be a lot easier now that I know how to use it!!
